Metal 3D printing will be supported by the Creo software, and it will also include Materialise’s support generation technology, which is said to provide designers with more control over their 3D models, and reduce time and effort. Powered by Materialise’ Build Processor, the Belgian outfit believes manufacturers will now be able to seamlessly integrate PTC’s software with 3D printing systems equipped with Build Processor. PTC has formed an alliance with Materialise to take advantage of the company’s experience in additive manufacturing, and enable manufactures to more easily integrate 3D printing into their production processes using Creo software. Materialise has announced a partnership with PTC to enhance the 3D printing capabilities of the company’s Creo suite of CAD software.Ĭreo is a family of software products developed by PTC for design and engineering professionals.
